International Fake Journal Month 2012

I’ve been busy this month participating in Roz Stendahl’s International Fake Journal Month. Its purpose is to make people think of an alter ego and have him/her visual journaling for a month.

I thought of some sketchy background for my fake identity, but I was mainly interested in the challenge of being able to draw something daily and see what I could do in a month (and being abroad seemed the perfect excuse for using Google Earth and some photos of mine).

I’m posting some of the coloured ones but they’re mainly ink drawings: IFJM 2012 (which might or might not get coloured in the near future).
It’s been a roller-coaster month of sorts but I’m happy with the fact that at the moment I only skipped 3 days out of 26! The results are not that great but I’m posting all of them (the ones I like, the bad and the ugly) in an album at Flickr because I want to think it’s better to have a bunch of bad drawings than none at all.

Think of joining next year, all in all it's been a great experience! :)
